Classic Home began when founder Harpal Singh started selling handwoven kilim rugs, believing that authentically crafted pieces made with honest materials could transform spaces and reshape how people live in them. Inspired by the rugs, Harpal searched for other pieces that embodied his values of quality and authenticity, always reshaping and refining his vision for what inspired spaces could be. Thirty years on, our search continues as does our commitment to sourcing pieces that transform, complete, and most of all, inspire your spaces.

Our Mission

We believe that the spaces we surround ourselves with should reflect who we are and shape how we live. We choose to live inspired lives full of discovery, wonder and conversation, so we create pieces made with authentic designs, craftsmanship, and materials that tell the stories of the artisans who made them. We’re passing these pieces onto you so that you can share in the thrill of inspiration and craft spaces that tell your story.

The details that make the difference.

Design

Our designs blend traditional techniques with contemporary details to create unique pieces that transcend their inspiration. We design every piece with the entirety of our collection in mind, making sure they work as standalone objects and serve the aesthetics of any space.

Craftsmanship

Skilled craftspeople apply their artistry to solid wood, natural fibers, fabrics, and forged metal to create our inspired pieces. Hand woven rugs, kiln dried wood furniture, and fabric stonewashing give you textures, colorways, and forms that contribute to dynamic and inviting spaces.

Sustainable Materials and Production

We preserve the variations found in our natural materials and craft processes to enrich their designs. Also, we use only plantation grown or reclaimed wood in our furniture and hand harvested natural fibers in our rugs. Several of our factories also meet Forest Stewardship Council production and fair-trade guidelines.
